New to town, Dmitry finally got bored with his Mundane life, and was curious about the other half lived - the Tale half. So he picked up and moved to Woodsbridge, disappointed to have missed the most recent episode on Days of our Tales, but is settling in and getting the popcorn ready for the next round that’s sure to come. Until then, he’s hanging out with his cousin Yulia, attempting to make some new acquaintances, and maybe discover a Talemate or two along the way. | Harold "Hal" Albert Cooper [The Sheriff of Nottingham]

Hal’s a Woodsbridge native, born to the Cooper family - yes, those Coopers - and pretty much lived a charmed life. All-around good guy, the kind who played three different sports, did Cub Scouts and took dance lessons, and broke their parents in for the rest of his four siblings. After finishing up at the Academy, Hal took some time to travel, courtesy of the Business Office, as he was working for them as an archeologist. He’s home and here to stay, after having been in and out of town for the past few years, but Hal really wants to get to know his younger siblings better, and to help the family in whatever capacity is needed. As a member of the Remnants of Aesop, Hal is also working towards better reception amongst Tales. Being a Tale is an honor, regardless of which one it is. Hal is proud to be the Sheriff of Nottingham. And he might just take down the corrupt Business Office while he's at it, because things are only getting shadier, and Hal's spidey senses are only growing stronger. Catherine Maire Harper, née Ellis [Goldilocks]
Soccer mom extraordinaire who’s just trying to keep it real is probably the best way to describe Catherine. At least, that’s what she wrote about herself for the last time the paper did a “Who’s Who” for the Talewind staff. Her children promptly rolled their eyes upon reading it, but she wasn’t wrong, really. Catherine also tends to be just as picky as her original Tale, Goldilocks herself. Yes, she’s registered, no, she doesn’t want to talk about it - she's actually thinking about unregistered, with the way things have been lately. She's very much a fierce mama bear - never mind the fact that she’s still a little wary of bears, even today - but as long as you don't cross her the wrong way or fail to meet her expectations, Catherine will mother you cheerfully while simultaneously offering scathing advice to the morons who write to her advice column. There’s not too much to tell about Laura - she’s in Woodsbridge teaching for a two-year period as a favor to her niece Fiona, and, well, she probably wouldn’t have done it if she’d known her most serious ex would also be in town. But, locked into her contract and certainly not the type to go back on her word, Laura’s making the best of these two years - with lots of trips back to New York to check on her pet PR company - to pass on her marketing genius to the undergraduate students at the Academy. | Iain Alasdair McIntyre [Rapunzel's Father]

After four and a half years in the RAF as a hostage negotiator, Iain was looking forward to settling down and spending some quality time with his siblings when he arrived in town in August. Clearly that has not been the case, and as much as he wishes he could just up and leave, his family needs him more than ever, despite his own issues to work through, namely his PTSD and generally just adjusting back to civilian life. It's been harder than he expected; war changed him in ways he hadn't anticipated, as it does to everyone. He's quieter and much less outgoing than he used to be (although still stubborn as ever), but he's chugging along, doing his best to get through each day. He's kind and mild-mannered, and hopeful that one day they can a) either get the hell out of Dodge or b) maybe Dodge will quiet the fuck down. Rachel Elizabeth McKenzie [The Queen of Hearts]

Rachel might look serious on the outside, but if you ask anyone who knows her, they’ll tell you the exact opposite. Fun-loving, teasing, silly, and a kind and loyal friend, she’s not always great at keeping her mouth shut or knowing when to stop talking, but it all comes from a good place and a fierce desire to protect the ones she loves. And despite her initial thoughts, she’s managed to find that here. It’s become home to her. Having only been in Woodsbridge for five years since breaking up from her longtime partner, and embracing the Tale life about as long, Rachel has still yet to come to terms with her history as the Queen of Hearts, but overall, Woodsbridge has done her well. Rocio Raquel Rulli Sanchez [The fairy with the gift of grace]
This isn’t Rocio’s first rodeo in Woodsbridge, but it’s been over ten years since her last one, so she’s a little unfamiliar with some of the changes. But, she’s back and ready for whatever’s to come. She has her game face on and is trying super-hard to reconnect with her little sister. Except that might be tricky considering Rocio didn’t even show up for their aunt’s funeral. You know. The one who practically raised them. STORYLINESFAMILYTALEMATESCO-WORKERSFRIENDSGAME RECAP• Rocio returns to town. • Their princess is revealed, and becomes their friend, during the Tale impulse plot, before returning to normal. • Rocio continues to try making amends with her sister, Penelope. • Rocio is aged down, and gets into a fight with Penny. • They're aged back up and still haven't addressed it. • But Rocio's broken down and finally talked about her issues with Evie and Aine and is determined to make it work • Rocio attends the play and talks to Charlie - they have drinks before going to the Glass Slipper reopening • Rocio attends the date auction and walks away with dates with Aine and Jack PB: Jordana Brewster | ||||||

Samuel "Sam" Aaron White Horn [Baloo]
Sam is, in a word, easy-going. He’s all about making memories and generally just trying to figure his life out, as his fellow Millenials are wont to do. He’s coming to terms with the fact that he doesn't really want to be a lawyer, after all, and is contemplating going back to school for a degree in counseling. There's more than one way to honor your Tale, after all. As he edges on his final semester, Sam is mostly trying to lay low and continue to heal from after Poppy's murder. Overall, Sam’s a good kid and friend to many, and despite the craziness in town, he's more optimistic than ever that things will turn out the way they're supposed to.
